Tranquility colouring

Dear reader,

It's been some days again since I posted. I hope this colourful post will find you well today!

Recently I bought some very pretty sets of mandala cards that you have to give colour yourself and so I took some time to play around with colours. It's my first try on mandala's. Never done this before, but I must say..... it's a great thing to do for relaxing and go back to your childhood! My colouring is really not perfect as i'm half blind, and so here and there you can see some imperfections, but alas........ that's life. I tried my best. I can't see these imperfections with my naked eye, but when I scanned the cards and zoomed in on them I noticed it's really really bad, haha. Anyway...... These cards are really cool. They are made of velvet! In realtime they are so pretty and feeling soft and the colours show so bright. I will now start to use them as a background for my cards, so in the near future you'll see them again in another form. Mandala colouring is so popular nowadays. I am amazed by the offers of pencils and books with patterns that are available. Sooooo much to choose from! I used what I had in stack when it comes to the pencils. I used Le Plume pencils, regular felt tips and gelpens for my mandala's. I now need to buy some better pencils and stuff. This can become my next addiction. I can recommend this type of art to anyone as it's so simple to do! I hope you'll enjoy the eyecandy for today.

Have a wonderful weekend!

She's a lady handmade vintage card

Hi there,

Again some time flew by since I wrote. In the meantime i'm one year older also. I had a wonderful birthday and really have feel blessed by all the wonderful gifts and love I received.

I'm still behind when it comes to sharing all the artsy things I created, so hop hop on with the goat, haha. Here is a handmade vintage style card I finished recently. I love the beautiful pinkish photo of this pretty vintage lady and have used it quite often in my art lately. This is a pretty simple card actually made by just using a lot of florals around the frame. That gorgeous bling butterfly was a find I got from a store in Germany where they had these in the curtain rod section. It's a magnetic butterfly which original purpose was to use it as a decorative item on a curtain, but I saw more for using it in my art, so that's why I took it home with me. When I go into a store I always look like a dragonfly with a multipurpose point of view. I find use for the offered items in many ways, always lol. Sometimes it makes me tired though as it's always quite complex thinking for me, but alas that's who I am. I hope this little blogpost finds you well. I'm going to prepare for the next one!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Dangling pinks

Hi there,

Like I promised in my last blogpost I will share some pink dangling earrings I made recently.

Making earrings is one of my addictions. I just can't get enough of playing with beads. This is a disease I have had all my life lol. It's unbelievable but the pastel pink iridescent leaves I used on one set are leaf beads I bought when I was 18 years old!! So... they are over 30 years old and were still in my stash waiting to be used. Well finally they've found their destination, haha. Isn't it magical how things all have their own time to shine?!

I hope you feel inspired by this new batch of earrings.

Enjoy today! Tomorrow may never come!

On a note

Dear reader,

Weekend again! 😵Oh oh oh....... isn't it going quick again. I keep saying that lately. I just can't get over the fact that when you get older the faster life seems to pass by. I am wondering about it a lot lately and am fascinated about that feeling of that time seems to go faster and faster. I then figure life is a bit like how a clock goes round. The sooner you approach twelve again, after you started your life at one, the faster you can see the end of the circle coming. It's hard to explain, but I hope you get what reference I try to make. And then on top of that the stupid thing called daylight savings. Next weekend our clock will go back one hour again to make the inner mess complete, haha. I think it's time to just keep it the natural way. No daylight savings....... just go natural again. No manipulative times anymore! I think it's disruptive. But ha, who cares about my opinion!? On a note....... I am here to share some eyecandy, not to rant about time. I do have the time to show the eyecandy, so here it is, my pink vintage style notecard. I like to make art that is functional. This is a card that you can use for adding a note and on the same time make a wallhanging or doorhanger of it. Of course it's pink 😋and did I add way too much glitter and glamour to it. But who cares?! My next blogpost i'll share earrings. Still so much to show off! But that's good isn't it. At least i'm doing something with my time! Have a blessed wonderful calm and loving weekend!
