Ring Ring

Hi there, good Sunday to you!

Here I am back within not too much of time, I hope! I've been incredibly creative last week and made tons of earrings and also some cards. I have so much completed artwork to capture with my camera first and then off for sharing the eyecandy here on my blog to bring you more inspiration. In the meantime I am having a lot of pain in my neck, shoulders and arms lately and have had therapy for it which didn't help at all. I ate ibuprofen like candy; that didn't help much either. Off to the homedoctor again and I was referred to the hospital. An EMG still needs to be done within a week to see if there is any nerve damage going on or something. We'll see what's coming from it :w One thing is already sure..... carpal tunnel syndrome is back. :( I've had surgery on both hands in 1998 but never knew that it could come back in full glory. So.... that bothers me a lot lately, but I try not to give up and try to relax here and there in between creating, and foremost stay aware of my attitude. That helps a little bit. I also am trying to avoid stress proactively, which is the biggest challenge for me. I've never had a stressless life nor experienced peace in my life. I simply don't know what it is too be relaxed! Weird huh?! But it's the truth. It's difficult to seek peace when you don't have any reference point of what peace feels like. I've always been in state of war in my life. Hopefully I can find peace one day very soon :) Anyway, back to a bit of color in my life with creativity .............. ring ring here I am with some handmade earrings then. I started making earrings and other jewelry when I was about 12 or 13 years old. I just loved to do that and still do. It's really a neverending creative process when you start to work with beads. There are so many possibilities to choose from when it comes to the designs and materials you can use. I'm like a child in a candystore when I stumble upon a beadstore :D That makes me so happy! By the way.....  I've bought two wonderful copper metal stands to put my earrings on, which you can see in the pictures. It starts to look like a shop in here, haha! Enjoy the day! I'm going to bead it!

More heartfelt creativity

Hi there,

Today i'd like to share some more heartfelt creativity of mine which is the second heart I made in a series of three. I shared the first one yesterday in this post.

I had so much fun creating these hearts. I had a friend who made the most beautiful shabby fabric hearts for me and actually was I inspired by her hearts, that are hanging in my craftroom.

I made the heart on a base of mdf board and added all kinds of papers, stickers, handmade flower and other embellishments to it.  I hope you like the eyecandy for today and that you may feel inspired!

It is all about the heart

Details on handmade victorian paper heart
Goodmorning to you!

Im on a roll lol. I'm more in my heart I guess and that matches the fact that i've been creating a couple of hearts. This is a heart I'd like to share, in a series of 3. I made it of chipboard with adding this pretty victorian flower lady and pink flowers. I made the pink golden paper flower myself as well. The heart has a soft pink pastel tassel and I added cotton lace to make it possible to hang. On the backside I made it possible to write a message from the heart. Isn't that what it's all about in life? To show someone your appreciation?

Everyone wants to be loved, not? We are all seeking for love and attention. So.... show somebody some love from your heart today. Just make a cup of tea or coffee for your husband or wife, or friend and/or give him/her a big hug, or call your brother or sister whom you haven't spoken for such a long time, buy a bunch of flowers or one rose and give it to a stranger, or give your doctor a compliment instead of complaints. Sharing love is not about giving big things, it's about a smile, a hug, telling someone how much they mean to you or cheer someone up! I can make a big difference in someone's life! This world needs that sooooooo much right now!

Fairy purple art

Hi there!

Goodmorning to you :) It's cool and quite windy over here and it's hard to digest to the chills after a long warm and dry period here in the Netherlands. My fingers come up with this nasty visitor 'Raynaud' due to the cold and my neck is as stiff as a piece of wood. So it's neccessary to try to stay as warm as possible, avoid stress and counting our blessings. So....... Typical challenging purple weather for me :) And thus that's what inspired me this morning to share some purple artwork and eyecandy with you. A fairy tag, some cross-stitch flower kits I finished making and of course some flowers from the garden. Also some collage pictures from my Tumblr website where I share just photos of my art. I can't believe i'm on 'blogroll' again! That's a good sign! I say Purple Rain, Purple Rain!
